Two supernovae was observed at Taurus Hill Observatory 7./8.3.2008.

Observer: Veli-Pekka Hentunen.

Supernova SN2008at is a Ia type of supernova. It was discovered by the Jack Newton anf Tim Puckett 2.3.2008. The maximum magnitude of the supernova was about 16.5 mag.

 

Supernova SN2008ax is a II type ofsupernova. At the moment of the photographing it had a brightness of 15.6 magnitudes. This supernova was discovered by the Koichi Itagaki 3.3.2008.
