Supernova SN2008an is a Ic type of supernova that discovered from the galaxy UGC10936. At the maximum it had the brightness of 17.3 magnitudes. Taurus Hill Observatory´s research team member Veli-Pekka Hentunen photographed this supernova 2./3.3.2008
