Taurus Hill observatory research team photographed SN 2009W by using the Moorook GR15 telescope that is located in Australia. In addition the research team received nice pictures from the Erkki Kankare who is a researcher in Nordiv Optical Telescope in La Palma, In the NOT pictures there are lot of details visible including the spirals of the galaxy. The supernova itself is also very visible in the NOT pictures despite the brightness of the supernova was only 19.4R magnitudes. The THO research team wants to give a big thanks to Erkki Kankare and NOT observatory for taking these pictures.
