The supernova SN 2009bw that was discovered 27.3.2009 at Taurus Hill Onservatory has brightened up since the discovery. 1.4. it had a brightness of 14.7R measured with the photometric R -filter. It is assumed that this is the maximum brightness for this supernova. SN 2009bw has been researched carefully with e.g. Swift -satellite. One research reslut is that the supernova is type II supernova.
