Markku Nissinen and Veli-pekka Hentunen photographed the supernova SN 2010V confirmation pictures 7.2.2010 by using the GRAS4 remote telescope (New Mexico). The confirmation was reported to the IAUC and it is mentioned in the discovery circular CBET 2162. The brightness of the supernova was at the time of the photographing about 5 magnitudes and it was locade quite near the center of the galaxy.
