Exoplanet HAT-P-8b was discovered December 2008. It is located in the Pegasus about 750 light years from the Earth. Planet is so called Hot Jupiter and it has a period of three days. The size of the planet is about 1.5 times the size of the Jupiter. THO research team observed half the transit of the HAT-P-8b 26./27.3.2009. The dimmening of the mother star is only 7 mmag, but it is still visible in the THO measurements. Research team used 30 sec. exposure times without any photometric filters.
