Comets 8P/Tuttle and 46P/Wirtanen observed 1.1.2008 at Taurus Hill Observatory

Comet 8P/Tuttle was observed at THO 1.1.2008. The exposures in the picture below are 15x30 sec. and the field of view is about 12x10 arc minutes. The star just abowe the comet is GSC 1749-1022 and it has a brightness of 11.5 magnitudes.
Research team also obseved the comet 46P/Wirtanen (found by the finnish related Carl Wirtanen, 1948). The comet was the original destination for the Rosetta. The field of view in the second picture below is about 11x8 arc minutes. Just behind the comet, there is a star GSC 5832-242 that has a brightness of 11.7 magnitudes.
