Comets 46P/Wirtanen and 8P/Tuttle were observed at Taurus Hill Observatory 4.1.2008. The exposures in the pictures below were 11x90 sec. (Wirtanen) and 15x20 sec. (Tuttle). The field of view for Wirtanen is about 9x7 arc minutes and for the Tuttle 12x8 arc minutes. The weather was very clear, temperature -12 celcius, seeing about 2 and transparency 2. The comet Wirtanen is very low in the southern sky. It rise only about 16 degree abowe the horizon.
