Comet 93P/Lovas 1 is near the Sun every ninth year. Comet does not reach the higher magnitude than mag. 13, so it is mainly only a comet that can be observed with telesopce and CCD -camera. Taurus Hill Observatory research group member Veli-Pekka Hentunen photographed this comet in 12./13.10.2007 4.05 - 4.23 finnish time. The comet was about 35 degree high in the west sky. You can see a dim tail that is about 1,5 arc minutes long. The magnitude of the comet in this picture is about 14,3 magnitudes.
