Comet 8P/Tuttle is rapidly moving down and soon it becames more difficult to observe from northern hemisphere. But still it is very well located quite high in the nighttime sky. We took color pictures of it using Canon EOS 350D DSLR and Optec NextGen 0.5 focal reducer and Meade 12" telescope. Picture 5/6.1.2008 night: Markku Nissinen, Veli-Pekka Hentunen and Tuomo Salmi.
Comet was moving so rapidly that it became slightly elongated. Exposure times are about three and two minutes.
